LIGHTING & COLOR INFORMATION
CLEAR GLASS
Where clear glass walls are to be installed, care must be given to provide proper play. Interior court lighting can be any industry acceptable lighting manufacturer. On the exterior side and close to the glass wall, care must be taken to have light levels equal or nearly equal to the interior foot candle level - a light ratio of more than 2 to 1, interior to exterior, will cause unwanted reflections on the interior glass surface.
Exterior floor finishes near clear glass walls must be light in color within three feet of the glass. Beige, bright orange, etc., or the extension of the court wood floor
2438 mm (8')± would be recommended. Dark colors, i.e., brown, dark gray, etc. cause backgrounds against which view of the ball can be lost through the glass.
